Renowned for his eccentric electronic experiments, New York-based, Australia-bred Fascinator aka Johnny Mackay is has unveiled the new video for ‘Time To Go’,the third track off debut album Man, co-produced by Darren Seltmann (The Avalanches) - out now on Spinning Top Records.

Following electric ‘Dead Of The Night’ and brooding track ‘The Traveller,’ ‘Time To Go’ is Fascinator’s latest dive into the unconventional. Chorus style vocal compositions are headed by Fascinator’s melancholy vocal lead, accompanied by a slow burning organ synth.

Co-produced by Darren Seltmann, founding member of The Avalanches, the 12-track Man was conceived between Sydney’s cultural hub Newtown and the NSW Blue Mountains region. The experimental aesthetic of the album pays homage to electronic revolutionary Kraftwerk, as well as the avant-garde John Maus, Clara Mondshine and Ariel Pink.

The self-described “record that defines Fascinator” follows two EPs, Birth and Earth entirely written, recorded and produced by Mackay. Earlier this year he performed with Kirin J Callinan, opening for Tame Impala at two sold-out shows at Los Angeles' Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
